Since its birth, IJtama has been dependent on and actively involved in fisheries in its widest form. And though fewer vessels have been built in recent time, renovations, rebuilds and repairs continue to be a major source of income.

In this domain IJtama has every right to call itself an experienced specialist: the company’s first cutter is now over 30 years old, and the range of vessels handled over the years is vast. In today’s market work consists mainly of rebuilds. Many vessels are being adapted to the new fishing method called flyshooting. And we spend much time repairing and rebuilding.
